Cult of Personality hits the PA system as the crowd erupts into a mixture of roars and jeers.
Out emerges {CM}Punk dragging the X-Division title, a slight grin on his face at the reception he received. Punk lays the title on the ground at the top of the ramp, drops to a knee to complete his trademark entrance before sitting cross-legged and pulling out a microphone. Something clearly on his mind as past promo's of this type have shown in the past.
"Cut the music"
The chants of C.M.Punk begin as he put the microphone to his mouth.
"While I appreciate the support there's a few things I need to get off my chest. it's been a little while now since I addressed the iTNA fans and the lockerroom and much has happened in that time which needs to be touched upon. The place where I find myself at is pretty much as I expected although the route getting here isn't how it was planned. The last time I spoke to you I was a member of S.I.N. which as you know have since disbanded. The reasoning behind that was simple, S.I.N. was a takeover stable, initially created by Kazuno and then taken over by my good friend H}{H. More to annoy than anything else, to be a thorn in the side of every self righteous wrestler in the back, and by doing so we ignored our own career goals within the company for a period. A quick re-evaluation and it was decided to go our separate ways and switch things up a bit. A few unexpected losses came about, I lost my Patriot title shot to Ace in a submission match, despite making him tap out but the ref was conveniently "unconcious" which was a minor setback, nothing more. I'll earn another shot and add the belt to my list of accomplishments within the company.
I got myself back on track and won a flaming tables match at The Rumble and aided H}{H with his match against Sarah, some of you might be wondering why, well quite frankly it's none of your damn business.... what's that term again... "Bro's before Ho's". We may not be in the same faction but there's a mutual appreciation still. Now speaking of the Rumble, I don't regret many actions but I do now regret not enterting myself into the Royal Rumble match. After watching it backstage and the idiots participating it would have been a walkover. The resulting winner was that gloryhugging idiot Lampard, yet another paper champion, who since went on and took the world title. I'm not quite sure his ego can cope with 3 belts now, even with all three linked together you couldn't fit them over that fat head, though I don't think it'll be a problem that'll last too long once he faces ACTUAL opponents. It doesn't matter who is holding the belts when I come for them, the outcome will be the same,
This was the purpose of bringing together a tag team, Voodoo Kin Mafia, a proverbial middle finger to everyone around who thinks they deserve it all, sit in their comfort zones running their mouth about how they are so great and the "best in the business"... You're looking at the best in the world right now, don't let a lucky run of results cloud your judgement, even the filthiest hooker gets a disease free month every so often. You think you've come up smelling like flowers but it's only a momentary fragrance covering the steaming pile of crap! VKM will be fighting for the tag titles and will bring some honour back to the belts as soon as we get our title shot, and who better than myself and the 2014 King of the Ring, H0LLYWOOD, to do that."
Punk looks down at the X-Division title laid out before him.
"Almost forgot this, I took this from Kumar in a ladders match, but at the same time I had to feel doublely bad for him, not only was he trying to defend against the best in the world, but also against the king of ladders, it was a lose/lose situation for him which I took and made no mistake of this time. As I've previously said before though, this is merely a stepping stone to the grand prize and another notch to my record, I'm the #2 ranked superstar currently in this business, wrongly so as you're looking at the best, but apparently #2 nonetheless, it doesn't matter who my opponents are whether it be for this belt or to rise to the next title. I will not stop until I have claimed each title and done exactly what I said from day 1 when I came down this ramp. So this goes out to everyone backstage, make the most of those precious little belts you are holding, the shiny little awards you are so desperately grasping on to, because if i haven't had them yet, I'm coming for them in 2015. This time next year I'll sit at the top of this ramp again, your Grand Slam Champion."
Cult of Personality crackles over the PA system again as Punk hops to his feet crossing his arms over his head and exits backstage with the X-Division belt.
